Do I need to maintain my teak product/s?Updated a year ago

Teak may experience natural oil surfacing in the appearance of irregular patterns or stains. This is part of the maturing process and can be treated by gently washing with pH-neutral soapy water and a bristle brush.

Over time, untreated teak furniture may develop a silver-grey patina, which is a harmless cosmetic change and does not affect the structural integrity of the wood. To slow down the greying process, please apply a teak sealer. It is important to note that applying varnish or oil to teak furniture is not recommended.

To ensure the longevity of your outdoor furniture in the Australian climate, we recommend keeping it covered and out of direct sunlight when not in use.
